It remarkably illustrates the apparitions and life of Bernadette Soubirous in Lourdes with exquisite detail. Each plate is numbered and features a delicate black transfer print framed by a luxuriant floral border typical of the Art Nouveau era. An object of both devotion and decoration, testifying to the craftsmanship of major French faience factories.

🔍 Details & Condition Manufacturer: attributed to Mony & Desmalle in Bordeaux (Creil&Montereau Era) Material: Ironstone (fine earthenware) and screen-printed transfer. Pattern: Lourdes Scenes (e.g., N°5 The Apparition, N°4 The Interrogation, N°12 The Grotto, N°2 Wood Gathering). Era: Late 19th century. Manufacturing Date: Circa 1890 - 1910 A star-shaped hairline crack under plate N12. This is quite common on ironstone, but is considered normal wear for plates over 100 years old. Hand wash only: heat and detergents could damage the decoration. Note: Please carefully observe the photos, which are an integral part of the description. This piece is in beautiful vintage condition. It has gracefully endured the years and bears its marks. Some crazing of the glaze or slight oxidation spots may be noted, confirming its authenticity and age (see photos).
